Autumn at the Arboretum
September 20 – November 26

Celebrate the changing colors of the season and surround yourself with fall flowers, a Pumpkin Village and Cinderella’s Carriage! Visit the Dallas Arboretum from September 20 through November 26, and you’ll see more than 50,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash, as well as a hay bale maze and scavenger hunts. Picnic with the family, take fun photos and explore houses made out of pumpkins, each featuring a popular storybook. Plano International Festival
October 18

For another multicultural experience, head to Haggard Park in Plano for a festival that honors cultural diversity. Kids will go for the educational activities and musical performances. They’ll also experience a fitness and health fair and a literature-based program, “Reading Around the World.” Cultural exhibits and an ethnic food court will give kids a taste of what the world has to offer.
